A two-to-one ratio of veggies to fruits is great for you. One medium sized apple, a cup of green beans and a cup of water are all good examples of vegetables.

As is the case with many things, it’s best to buy what you need and don’t need. You don’t need canning tomatoes or lemons as much as you want them, but they help can save a bit of time and money in the kitchen.

By having healthy foods in your diet, you are setting yourself up for health positive changes in your body. You will feel better overall because your body is getting an adequate amount of vitamins and minerals from the plants you eat.
